Abstract

This presentation explains the role of the LOD paradigm in the current landscape of data management, comparing it with the FAIR principles.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this lesson you will be able to identify the Linked (Open) Data paradigm and differentiate it from the FAIR principles and apply the Linked (Open) Data paradigm to the Linguistic domain.

Prerequisites

Identify the basics of data management; recognize different types of language resources.
